Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) is a next generation wide field
camera for Subaru telescope. The field size is 1.5 degree in
diameter and the expected instrument PSF over the field is 0.35
arcsec FWHM which enables seeing limited imaging in most of
the time. The first light will be expected by the end of 2011 and
the science observing runs will follow in early 2012 to cover
up to 2000 deg^2.
We will present the current status of the development and
the science cases of HSC.
